Background
Beaverbrooks, the award-winning family owned national jeweller, operating across 71 stores in the UK with over 950 employees, is celebrating 100 years in business in 2019. To mark their centenary year, Chairman Mark Adlestone’s vision was to reaffirm the family values that their business was founded upon by his grandfather and two brothers back in 1919.
Solution
In order to share the company history with each and every employee, the Communications team at Beaverbrooks opted to create a beautiful hard-backed book, in which Mark pens a letter to his late Grandfather, and original founder Isaac Adlestone. The contents of the book go on to explain how far the company has come in the past 100 years, and how the original family values are still upheld. A copy of the book was given to each employee.
Clone worked to project manage the production of the printed hard-backed book. The quality and finish needed to represent the high standards that Beaverbrooks promote and expect. Attention to detail is important on all projects we undertake, but this needed to be perfect and there was no room for error.
Results
We were contacted by Mark to personally thank the team for their efforts on the project:
“I thought I must contact you to thank you for the superb production of our Dear Grandpa books. They are a total success. I am thrilled with the finished product as indeed are our colleagues and my family. Thank you so much for your assiduous work. Shari told me how much care and attention went into this production. It is much appreciated.”
