Through our ongoing partnership with Edgbaston High School, we constantly look for new ways to help them connect with prospective students. For their latest Sixth Form taster day, the goal stayed simple: stand out and spark interest among external applicants.
Edgbaston High School wanted to try something different to promote their Sixth Form taster day to students outside the school.
The campaign targeted 282 prospective students. The communication needed to feel personal, engaging, and on-brand. In addition, it had to stand out from standard digital invites and encourage students to take the next step.
Using our print and direct mail expertise, we created a tactile, personalised invitation. The aim was simple: make an impact the moment it landed on the doormat.
The pack included an A6 two-page printed piece promoting the event. It also featured a branded pink envelope for instant recognition.
The school supplied the artwork. Meanwhile, our team handled print production and mailing. As a result, every invitation was produced and delivered seamlessly.
The campaign delivered exactly what the school hoped for: a record-breaking response to the event invitation.
Fifteen external students attended the Sixth Form taster day, which the school was very pleased with. Ultimately, a simple but thoughtful piece of direct mail helped the school stand out, spark curiosity, and bring prospective students through the door.
